

Manage Cookies in Firefox...
1. Open Firefox
Click the three horizontal lines (menu) in the top‑right corner.
2. Go to Settings
Select Settings (or Preferences on older versions).
3. Open Privacy & Security
Click Privacy & Security on the left‑hand menu.
4. Choose your cookie and tracking settings
Under Enhanced Tracking Protection, you’ll see:
• Standard — balanced protection
• Strict — blocks more trackers but may break some sites
• Custom — lets you choose exactly what to block
Scroll down to Cookies and Site Data to manage cookie behaviour.
5. Clear cookies and site data
Click Clear Data to remove:
• Cookies
• Cached web content
You can also tick Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed if you prefer a fresh start each time.
6. Manage cookies for specific websites
Click Manage Data to:
• Search for a website
• Remove individual cookies
• Remove all cookies for that site
This is helpful if one site is causing issues.
7. Clear history (optional)
Go to History > Clear Recent History
Tick Cookies
Choose a time range
Click OK
This removes cookies along with browsing history if selected.
Manage cookies in Firefox (Mobile)
1. Open Firefox
Tap the three dots at the bottom or top of the screen.
2. Go to Settings
Tap Settings.
3. Open Privacy & Security
Tap Privacy & Security.
4. Adjust cookie settings
Under Enhanced Tracking Protection, choose:
• Standard
• Strict
• Custom
5. Clear cookies
Tap Delete browsing data
Tick Cookies
Tap Delete browsing data
